VOLT LOANS

Australian Asset Aggregation approached ODDSOX to create a new finance broker brand from the ground up, targeting the underserved market of rideshare and bad credit car loans. We developed everything from the brand name to the complete digital presence, crafting a bold new player in Australia's vehicle financing sector. In a market dominated by conservative approaches, we saw an opportunity to create a dynamic, forward-thinking brand that would resonate with the emerging EV market while addressing the unique needs of rideshare drivers and those with challenging credit histories.

The foundation of our work began with deep-dive brand creation. We developed the name "Volt Loans" through a strategic process that considered market positioning, future scalability, and brand recognition. The name was carefully chosen to reference the emerging EV market while suggesting speed and efficiency in loan processing – qualities essential to our target market. This naming phase was followed by the development of a complete visual identity, including distinctive logo design, comprehensive brand guidelines, and a unique typography and colour palette that set Volt Loans apart in the financial services landscape.

Our digital presence strategy centred on creating a seamless user experience. We developed a custom website that balanced bold design elements with practical functionality, ensuring the loan application process was intuitive and efficient. The site was built with mobile-first responsiveness, recognizing that many of our target users would be accessing services on their smartphones between rides or during breaks.

The marketing and advertising strategy was crafted to establish Volt Loans as a confident, trustworthy presence in the vehicle financing sector. Our social media management and paid advertising campaigns were designed to reach specific audience segments with tailored messaging, while our content strategy focused on educating and engaging potential customers about both vehicle financing options and the growing EV market.

Implementation Journey

Our process began with extensive market research, analysing everything from competitor branding to EV market trends and government initiatives. This research phase was crucial in identifying the gap in the market for a bold, modern finance brand. The insights gathered shaped our entire approach to brand development and market positioning.

The brand strategy we developed rested on three key pillars: bold differentiation from conservative competitor branding, strategic alignment with Australia's EV market growth, and targeted appeal to both rideshare drivers and customers with credit challenges. This strategic foundation informed every aspect of our implementation, from visual design choices to marketing messaging.

In executing the strategy, we developed a vibrant, confident brand identity that intentionally broke away from industry norms while maintaining the professionalism essential in financial services. The website design optimized the loan application process, while our social media presence and paid advertising campaigns were crafted to build brand awareness and drive qualified leads.

Ongoing Management and Results

Our relationship with Volt Loans continues through ongoing digital marketing execution. We maintain regular social media content creation and community management, continuously optimise paid advertising campaigns, and track performance metrics to refine our strategy. This consistent management has helped establish Volt Loans as a distinctive presence in the vehicle financing market.
